Há Milhões de histórias em Liberty City. Toni Cripriani Confiou A Família Leone e Foi forçado a se esconder depois de ter matado um homem que era um grande amigo. Agora ele está de volta e pronto para acertar as coisas.

As Ruas de liberty City são perigosas. Guerras das máfias e a cidade se acabando devido a corupção policial, Crime organizado e Tráfico de Drogas. Toni não poderá confiar em ninguem e terá que conseguir o controle do submundo da cidade nem que para isso precise trabalhar para seus inimigos.

As Trilhas sonoras são um marco na série GTA. GTA tem um tradição de um trilha sonora excelente da época onde o jogo se passa.

Em Liberty city stories a história não é diferente e contém uma excelente trilha sonora, possui uma quantidade menor de musicas em relação aos outros GTAs, porém temos que levar em conta que o jogo é em um portatil.
