Os indicados ao Emmy 2014

A atriz Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project) e o apresentador Carson Daly (The Voice) anunciaram na manhã desta quinta-feira (10), a lista dos indicados à 66ª edição dos Emmy Awards, que revelará seus vencedores no dia 25 de agosto em cerimônia apresentada por Seth Meyers (Saturday Night Live e Late Night).

 

Game of Thrones foi o grande destaque entre as concorrentes, com 19 indicações no total. Fargo (18), American Horror Story: Coven (17), Breaking Bad (16), The Normal Heart (16) e Saturday Night Live (14 – a maior indicada da TV aberta) também foram muito bem lembradas pelo Emmy.

 

Falando especificamente das emissoras, a HBO cravou incríveis 99 indicações, com a CBS e suas 47 indicações em segundo lugar. A NBC (46), a FX (45) e a ABC (37) fecham o top 5, e a Netflix conseguiu 31 indicações.

 

Entre os dramas os destaques são a encerrada Breaking Bad, que figura pela última vez na lista da premiação. A estreante True Detective também foi lembrada, e House of Cards mostrou a força da Netflix no mercado de séries originais ao cravar 7 indicações. Outro destaque da categoria foi, sem dúvida, a ausência de Tatiana Maslany, de Orphan Black. A atriz ficou de fora da lista de Melhor Atriz em Série de Drama.

 

Entre as séries de comédia a sensação absoluta foi Orange is The New Black, já que além de concorrer à Melhor Série de Comédia, viu 5 de suas atrizes serem indicadas – 3 delas na mesma categoria -, e ainda está na lista de dos prêmios técnicos. A estreante Silicon Valley foi a grande novidade na lista.

 

O Emmy dividiu a categoria Melhor Minissérie ou Filme para a TV em duas (Melhor Filme para a TV e Melhor Minissérie). E entre os filmes produzidos para a TV o maior indicado foi o belíssimo The Normal Heart, que concorre ao prêmio principal da categoria e teve 4 atores e 1 atriz (Julia Roberts) indicados. E na categoria de minissérie American Horror Story: Coven foi o destaque, com 6 indicações.
